  001.   I am over the age on 21 and I do play with heavy themes such as murder, gore and mentions of slavery and torture. However if you are under 21 I will not thread with you since the topics I play are heavily woven into the characters I use. I am a  mutual only  blog  002.   I prefer third person multi para styled rp. Length is a factor in how I write and I do try to give you a lot to work with so you have plenty to read and reply to. However I also expect effort to be given in return since it does take a lot to write as much as I do in between work and homework.  003.   I am a Dragon Age roleplayer. I don't often engage in characters from outside of those fandoms unless I know the mun behind the character. Fandomless characters are in the same boat as outside characters, if I don't know you I'm not going to interact with your character. I also do not follow personal blogs and ask that any that follow me do not interact with my threads. If you're a sideblog of a character I'm following please let me know

I don't have a queue tag but I'm often working out of it or I'm lurking and posting small things to get my queue full.  007.   I am a rather shy person due to past experiences. Do not hesitate to reach out to me, especially if you have any questions in regards to my portrayal. Most of my portrayal is a result of years of headcanons off tumblr, my portrayal may not fit what you expect as a result of this.

  IMPORTANT POINT #1   Being someone who joined the Venatori at one point does not mean that Uri is a racist, nor does the mun condone the actions of the Venatori but wishes to portray how easily a cult can draw in people who do not hold all of the worst ideals.  IMPORTANT POINT #2   Just because she is a blood mage does not mean that Uri is evil. The same arguments that were given for Merrill will hold true to Uri, it does not change solely because she is Tevinter and not Dalish.  IMPORTANT POINT #3   Being a Magister does not make Uri a slaver/slave owner. She will reference to her servants, but she holds to the ideals that were once held in the real world for Indentured Servitude. Her servants are working off a debt and after the allotted time on their contract they will be free to leave as they please. As seen with Maevaris and Dorian, you can be a Magister and be forward thinking.

HISTORY
Uzara, nicknamed Uri, was born into the main family of the Livigena family. She was the youngest child, many of her cousins already in apprenticeships or getting ready for marriage by the time Uri was old enough to walk. Despite this Uri outpaced her cousins by applying herself to her studies, determined to gain her own title and wealth since many of her cousins would remind her that as the youngest she stood to inherit nothing despite being the daughter of the main line. Uri threw herself into studies on blood magic, looking for unused applications of it beyond just for the blood rituals that she found…messy.Uri’s efforts lead to her developing spells that layered over each other, gaining her Magister title when she developed a spell to keep blood circulating through the body despite the heart stopping and triggering a low level lightning spell to try to restart the heart after a few moments. Uri became one of the youngest mages to gain the title, though there are some whispers that she only gained it because she is the Archon’s niece.By her seventeenth birthday Uri has made a name for herself as a highly published writing of magic theory and has several spells focused on layering spells. She also had two separate assassination attempts; one that killed her parents when the carriage they were in was forced into a river and Uri was the only survivor and the second where she was poisoned and if not for the spell that gave her the title she would’ve died. With the death of her parents there was a minor war started in the family, many cousins vying for the right to claim leadership over the whole clan.Eventually the Archon was asked to intervene and he declared Uri as head of the family, stating that it was her right as the sole magister amongst the mages. There was more fighting, but the other branches were dependent on the main so it settled. Uri joined with the Ventori for a short period of time, believing they were like minded and wanted to find new uses for blood magic, instead she found a cult.Eventually freeing herself Uri decided to stand against their ideals(This is where DAI/V happens)

PERSONALITY
Uri is fairly formal in how she presents herself, concise and to the point in her speech. She doesn’t enjoy wasting time on frivolous topics (one of the arguments against her becoming head to the family was how anti-social she can be) and does prefer to speak on her research. She is well aware of the South’s opinion on her lifestyle and magic choices, but doesn’t understand why they tie themselves into knots about it. Very analytically minded she does enjoy listening to debates and is always willing to entertain arguments, but does expect the other party to hear her out in turn.

  2. Dislikes:People instantly getting aggressive with her just because she’s a blood mage, people refusing to debate with her and just want to yell at her, people messing with her experiments

I CAME TO STUDY THE BLIGHT

DRAGON AGE ORIGINS/AWAKENING: Uri leaves Tevinter at the news of a possible blight in order to test her theories on various cures for the darkspawn taint and to study the taint itself. Uri can be found in a blighted village studying the abandoned place. In the camp she can be found near the small lake

SO YOU'RE WHAT ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT

Dragon Age 2: Uri comes to Kirkwall after hearing about an escaped slave causing a fellow magister to waste a good amount of gold chasing him. Afterwards she stays to study the old history and discover what the magisters of old may have left behind. In Kirkwall she takes up residence in a lowtown home to keep a low profile

Dragon Age Inquisition: Uri joins the Inquisition after leaving the Venatori, wanting to prevent her former comrades from finishing their plans. In Haven she can be found in the halls of the main building and in Skyhold she is in a basement room with her experiments

Dragon Age Veilguard: Same as Inquisition, joining to stop the Venatori. In the Lighthouse Uri’s room is another floating space, set lower than the rest and filled with her experiments (also gains decor from romance options)
